The Story behind Carolina Home Stay
"My mother (pictured to the right) was a vibrant, intelligent woman who gradually found daily tasks to be more and more difficult. At first, it was the simple things such as paying bills, making grocery lists, cooking meals, caring for pets, and then slowly, her daily personal needs became an issue. Eventually mother was unable to be alone.
It is difficult to pinpoint the exact moment when caregivers were needed to stand by her 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because the downhill slide was so slow. Through networking, advertising, and word of mouth, wonderful "angels" were found, who were willing to patiently give her the tender loving attention that she required and these women were with her until the end of her life.
No one can ever repay them, but we can "pay it forward" through providing caregivers when you need them for your loved ones and that is why Carolina Home Stay exists. There is a lot of love behind us and we know what it means to stand by you and yours."
